Our commitment
LEAP4Asian (Leading Eating Disorder Awareness Project for AAPI) is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people of all abilities. We believe that health awareness, cultural resources, and care information should be welcoming, usable, and accessible to everyone who visits our site.
We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying relevant accessibility standards across our digital presence.
Conformance standard
We aim to adhere to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA standards. These guidelines outline best practices to ensure web content is accessible to people with a wide range of visual, auditory, motor, and cognitive abilities.
Key steps we take on this site include:
- Keyboard navigation: Ensuring all interactive elements, navigation menus, and links can be operated with a keyboard alone.
- Readable typography & contrast: Choosing legible typefaces and maintaining strong color contrast between text and backgrounds.
- Semantic structure: Using clean, logical heading structures and page layouts for assistive technologies like screen readers.
- Alternative text: Providing descriptive text for meaningful images and illustrations.
- Motion & responsiveness: Designing smooth transitions that adapt across mobile, tablet, and desktop viewports.
Third-party content & external links
While we strive to ensure everything on our site is accessible, some pages link to third-party services — such as external application forms, downloadable reference PDFs, and social media platforms. Because these platforms are maintained by external providers, we cannot control their underlying code, but we actively seek accessible alternatives wherever possible.
If you have difficulty accessing any third-party content linked from our site, please contact us and we will gladly provide the information in an alternative format.

We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of the LEAP4Asian website. If you encounter any accessibility barriers, have questions, or need assistance accessing any part of our site, please reach out to us:
